Advanced Standing Credit

After candidates are accepted into the Evening MBA program, the Admissions Team reviews academic credentials to determine potential Advanced Standing credit for courses in the core curriculum. Each new student's acceptance packet will include a Course Planning Chart detailing his or her Advanced Standing status.
We consider the following criteria in awarding Advanced Standing credit:

  • Relevant courses must have been completed within five years prior to entering the program.
  • You must have received a grade of "B" (3.0) or better in any course being considered.
  • You must have taken the course at a nationally accredited college or university in the United States, or in a comparable international program.
  • The course must be substantially similar in content and credit hours to our graduate courses.

CPA, CFA, and CMA
A candidate who has passed the CPA, CFA, or CMA exam will be given Advanced Standing credit for specific core courses. To receive credit for any of these certifications, you will need to submit a copy of the exam results with your application.
