Tracee Petrillo - Director, Graduate Center for Career Development

Tracee has more than 15 years of corporate and higher education experience. Prior to receiving her MBA at Babson in 2000, Tracee had been in management, business development, and corporate sales in the hospitality industry, working for organizations such as Disney, Doubletree, and Sheraton. After earning her Babson MBA, she worked at Keane Consulting Group as an operations consultant. Tracee returned to Babson as program manager of the Two-Year MBA program in 2003. Subsequently, she was named director of the Office of Program Management, and, most recently, she held the role of assistant dean of the graduate school. During this time, she led the transition of the experiential learning function to the graduate school leading the corporate business development program for the experiential learning programs, and implemented new processes for both programs. In addition to her Babson MBA, Tracee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Union College. She is proficient in Spanish and German, and has traveled extensively including time living abroad in both Germany and Spain. In Madrid, she studied at Sampere Language School.

Kim Briggs - Associate Director, MBA Career Education

Kim joins us from The Boston Beer Company where she played an integral role in the firm's risk management and internal control assessment over financial reporting. Prior to The Boston Beer Company, Kim worked at Raytheon in the Internal Audit Department and then went on to drive the company's Internal Control Excellence program at their largest business unit in Tewksbury, MA. While at Raytheon, Kim also completed two years in the Financial Leadership Development Program, which included rotations through budgeting, financial analysis, program control, and corporate governance, as well as an assignment in their Australia offices. Throughout her corporate experience, Kim has been heavily involved in campus recruiting activities and has served as a mentor and source of information for students looking to explore various career paths. In addition to having a passion for helping students achieve their individual career goals, Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Boston College.

Ralph Constantino - Associate Director, Corporate Relations

Ralph brings over 30 years of senior level professional experience in the financial services industry which serves as a valuable resource for both our corporate partners and MBA candidates.
Prior to joining Babson, Ralph served as the Managing Director for Strategic Marketing and Product Development for State Street Global Advisors where he drove international initiatives in Hong Kong, Australia and played a leading role in the formation of CitiStreet LLC, a joint venture between State Street and CitiCorp. He was also the Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for the Schoolhouse Capital business unit that built solutions for the 529 college savings marketplace.
Before his tenure at State Street Corporation, Ralph held senior level positions with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Chase Consulting Group, Mercer Meidenger Hanson, Equitable Capital Management Company, Smilen and Safian and Citibank. Aside from his corporate experience, Ralph has also served as a member of the adjunct faculty at New York University, Loyola University and the American Institute of Banking. Ralph is also a featured speaker at professional conferences and has appeared on the Nightly Business Report and major print media. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from Wagner College as well as a Masters degree in Economics from Rutgers University.

Susan Lemke - Senior Associate Director, MBA Career Education

Susan has over 30 years of corporate experience including 13 years in career management work with Right Management Consultants. Most recently she provided individual executive job search coaching and served as the career assessment specialist in their Rocky Hill office. Over the years, she managed nine career transition centers for large scale corporate restructures in the region. Her background also includes marketing and management positions with American Can Company and James River Corporation and Principal in Management Ingenuity, her consulting firm that focused on human resource, marketing and productivity issues for entrepreneurial ventures. For the past ten years, Sue has run her own executive coaching and career assessment practice for corporate leaders and individuals. She holds a BBA in Marketing from Pace University, an MBA with honors from the University of Connecticut and is a New York State licensed Psychoanalyst.

Linnea has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, a corporate manager and an academic administrator. As Director of Global Career Development at Hult International Business School (formerly Arthur D. Little School of Management), Linnea directed the career and corporate development office, creating career skills programming and corporate relationships for international MBA students and alumni. Prior to Hult, she managed professional development for Oracle Corporation's national sales teams. For 5 years prior to Oracle, Linnea worked at the Brandeis University International Business School as Assistant Dean, managing global executive education programs in Paris, Frankfurt and Tokyo,as well as providing career, IT and student services. Linnea also ran her own consulting firm providing energy saving alternatives to energy services companies and clients. Linnea has a BA with honors in Business Management from Boston College and an MSF from Brandeis University. She has worked in Bogota, Caracus, Mexico City, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghi, Bangkok, Tokyo, Seoul, Paris, Frankurt, Vienna and London as well as cities throughout the United States and is an expert in global career consulting.

Cindy Klein Marmer is an alumna of the F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business and has over 11 years of industry experience. Cindy has successfully leveraged her experience as a CPA and former Director of Accounting and Finance to become a highly regarded career management professional. With experience at Lee Hecht Harrison, Dale Carnegie, and her own practice, Cindy has facilitated and coached individuals and groups on the career transition process including selling themselves. Prior to joining Babson, Cindy worked at Primedia’s Channel One Network, Citibank, and Ernst & Young. Along with her MBA from Babson, Cindy holds a BS in Accounting from University of Delaware.

Terence (Terry) Shanley - Operations Manager

Terence Shanley joins us from the MBA Career Center at the Lally School of Management (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) where he has worked for over five years. During those five years, Terry worked as an Operations Associate, leading the operations of the Center, and then more recently as a Career Advisor, taking on a generalist role. Among other things, Terry led the reporting efforts of the Lally School, managing the data required by external reporting agencies, such as US News and World Report and Businessweek. Terence attended Fairfield University and Lorenzo D’Medici Institute in Florence, Italy where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He received a Master of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2007.

Jessica Teplow - Associate Director, Corporate Relations

Jessica has 12 years of corporate experience, primarily in business development, brand strategy and marketing communications with organizations in the healthcare industry. As an independent consultant for Tufts Medical Center, she has developed and implemented strategic plans designed to facilitate physician specialist outreach and drive profitability for the organization's diagnostic imaging center. In prior roles as a client service and management executive at creative agencies LehmanMillet, Inc. and BBK Healthcare, she was responsible for developing agency teams, establishing key business development relationships, and providing senior counsel in business strategy and brand planning for clients such as Abbott Diagnostics, Cytyc Corporation, Johnson & Johnson (and several of their Operating Companies), McKesson, Amgen, Centocor, Pfizer/Pharmacia, and others. Jessica's career on the professional services side of healthcare has afforded her access to and experience with leading, global organizations, often known for their different styles and operational excellence. She has a BA in Political Science from the University of Vermont, and is a current MBA candidate in Babson's Fast Track program.

Frank Dodge - Executive in Residence

We are privileged to have Frank as an Executive in Residence and a core member of the Center for Career Development team. Frank is former co-founder and Chairman of McCormick & Dodge, the first company to develop packaged software applications for mainframe computers. Frank is recognized as one of the pioneers of the software industry, taking a concept of a generic computer program for financial managers and growing McCormick & Dodge from a pure start-up operation to the #2 software company in the world. Frank later sold the company to Dun & Bradstreet and has since been engaged in several start-up ventures and serves as an advisor for individuals who are contemplating an entrepreneurial venture. Frank’s unique perspective as an innovative entrepreneur and early leader in the technology industry brings tremendous depth to the team and provides tremendous value to students in the area of career development strategy. Frank holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Harvard College and a Masters degree in Mathematics from Rutgers University.

Joe Kelley possesses over 35 years of experience as an executive, board member, and consultant in the telecommunications industry. He has a deep understanding of career development and recruiting strategies, having interviewed and hired hundreds of candidates throughout the course of his career. Joe has assisted the Management Consulting Field Experience and Business Consulting Alliance Programs by recruiting companies and interviewing MBA candidates and serves as a project advisor for these programs. Joe is a highly sought after resource for working professionals who have technology backgrounds to help them build career path or transition strategies. Prior to joining Babson, Joe retired as the New England Vice President of Operations for Verizon. Joe is a graduate of Holy Cross College and the PMD program at Harvard Business School.

George Lee brings over 30 years of experience in technology research and management leadership to the MBA Center for Career Development. He has a strong background in new materials research for the chemicals and electronics industry that has been coupled with extensive experience in new product and business development. In addition to these capabilities, he has led initiatives in intellectual property management, value chain analysis and strategies, and team development activities. He is a working consultant to Boston area firms, providing assistance in the area of commercialization of advanced technology research ideas. George specializes in helping working professionals, particularly those with a science or technology background, develop career transition strategies. George holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Williams College and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Colorado.

Lesley Day - Administrative Coordinator

Prior to joining Babson, Lesley served as the campaign coordinator for St. Sebastian’s School in Needham. She worked with the director of development and the Board of Trustees to begin the quiet phase of the school’s capital campaign. She has extensive experience working with students and alumni. Additionally, Lesley has experience in event panning and grant writing. Lesley holds a BA in history from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is an accomplished ballet dancer, having performed at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and at the School of American Ballet in New York City.
