MBA Management Consulting Field Experience (MBA MCFE)
The Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) recommends solutions to
sponsor companies' specific business challenges while providing Babson
graduate students with valuable, practical work experience. Teams of MBA
students have been consulting with domestic and international businesses
since 1976.
MBA MCFE Program Key Features at a Glance
- 12-Week Projects during Fall or Spring Semester
- 2nd-year and One Year MBA teams of three to five students
- Faculty Advisor oversees the project
- Recommended for companies that have previously participated in the Business Consulting Alliance Program (BCAP)
The MBA MCFE team consists of three to five MBA students and a MCFE Advisor.
Students are selected for the teams based on academic performance,
willingness to work on a team, and individual strengths relative to
the project, as well as initiative, leadership, responsibility, and reliability.
At the conclusion of the project, the MCFE team's findings and recommendations
are presented to the sponsor company in a detailed, written report and oral
presentation.
