One-Year MBA
Intensive Program for Those with an Undergraduate Degree in Business
Babson is renowned for its success in cultivating
entrepreneurship. But don’t think
we’re just for those planning startup ventures. At Babson, entrepreneurship
isn’t limited to start-ups—it’s a state of mind. Our
tradition of excellence is rich and encompasses the full scope of business
activity. While some of our graduates launch startup ventures, far more use their
Babson training to succeed in the corporate environment.
The One-Year MBA begins in May with an intensive,
12-week Summer Program. This program
features two of Babson’s renowned curricular modules.
Modules are carefully
channeled combinations of academic “streams” that flow together
to define and shape a larger topic.
Babson’s modular curriculum sets a premium on interdisciplinary
perspectives, interactive learning, and flexibility. If you work in the
Boston area, you have yet another flexibility option. You can opt to
return to your full-time work in September after completing the Summer
Program. Then you can complete the remainder of the program on a part-time
basis over two years.
During the fall and spring semesters, One-Year MBA students complete their
elective course work
along with second-year students in the Two-Year MBA
program and Evening MBA students.
